What makes UV invisible ink different from normal ink? Four dimensions: appearance, verification, security principle and application.
1. Appearance
Normal ink is clearly visible; UV invisible ink is colorless in normal light and reveals fluorescent patterns only under 254/365nm UV.
2. Verification
UV invisible ink is verified with a standard currency detector or UV flashlight within seconds — no professional equipment needed.
3. Security
Normal ink can be scanned and copied; UV fluorescent compounds are hard to replicate and can be layered with OVI and one-code-one-item marks.
4. Applications
For banknotes, IDs, tobacco/alcohol packaging, security labels — compatible with offset, screen, flexo, gravure and inkjet.
