What is scratch-off ink?
Also called scratch-reveal ink, it is a specialty ink coated over printed information that is revealed by scratching with a coin or fingernail. It provides strong opacity and confidentiality, preventing the hidden information from being read through before scratching.
What are the core performance requirements of scratch-off ink?
Five: high opacity that fully hides the underlying print with no show-through; genuine confidentiality, unreadable from the reverse or by holding to light; good abrasion resistance so it survives transit and storage; clean removal in a single scratch; and eco-friendly formulation, water-based or solvent-based.
Which colours are available?
